The international summer music festival "Vivace Vilnius" begins its fourteenth season with a special event – the festive 100th festival concert. This symbolic evening marks an important milestone in the festival's history and testifies to its consistent growth and international recognition.
For this exceptional occasion, one of Lithuania's most prominent pianists, Mūza Rubackytė, will perform on stage. The program she performs will reveal the grandeur, virtuosity, and emotional depth of Romantic-era music. The audience can expect not only a top-tier artistic performance but also a meaningful celebration dedicated to the festival community, which has been built over many years by world-renowned educators, performers, and young talents.
Mūza Rubackytė – biography
Mūza Rubackytė is one of the most famous Lithuanian pianists, having earned international recognition for her exceptional artistic style, technical mastery, and intellectual interpretations. After graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, the pianist continued her studies at the Moscow Conservatory, and her international career flourished especially after her victory at the prestigious Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Budapest.
The artist has performed in many of the world's most famous countries in Europe, Asia, and North America, and has collaborated with renowned conductors and orchestras. She is considered one of the most important interpreters of Franz Liszt's work in the world, and her recordings have repeatedly received the highest ratings from international music critics. The pianist's repertoire covers music from various eras – from Baroque to works by contemporary composers.
Mūza Rubackytė actively contributes to the education of young musicians, conducts masterclasses in various countries around the world, and is a jury member for many international competitions. Her concerts are distinguished by extraordinary emotional impact, subtlety, and artistic freedom.
