"It's been a while since I have felt so inspired and motivated to create new music, and I am beyond excited to share it with you all." – Erica Jennings
On November 6th, TAMSTA Club invites you to a night of live music with Erica Jennings, as she takes you on a musical journey back to her Irish roots.
Erica is arguably the most recognisable Irishwoman in Lithuania. Born in Dublin, she moved to Vilnius in 1994 and rose to fame in 1998 as the voice of SKAMP, whose hip-hop take on Gershwin's "Summertime" became a national hit. Six albums followed, along with multiple Best Band and Best Album awards, two Best Female Artist titles, support slots for The Black Eyed Peas and Macy Gray, and a Eurovision appearance for Lithuania in Copenhagen in 2001.
Her story didn't stop there. In 2001, she released solo tracks with the renowned Buddha Bar compilations, and "It's a Lovely Day" became an international hit. In 2017 came her first solo album, written by Erica herself. She has also opened for Róisín Murphy in Vilnius.
Now, Erica is deeply inspired by her Irish heritage. The night will bring her well-known songs, along with a unique chance to hear a brand-new sound that she calls Celtic Soul.
