The exhibition "Superglue, or Creating a Friend" invites us to talk about meeting the other and about what connects us. It asks whether we can make friends with what initially seems unfamiliar, strange, or difficult to understand – a person, a work of art, or contemporary art itself.
In the education "My Art Friend," we will invite young visitors to reflect on the concept of friendship through an encounter with artworks. Participants will explore the exhibition by completing tasks, answering questions, and engaging in creative activities. During the education, we will look for possible friendships between artworks: we will talk about the similarities and differences of the works in the exhibition, consider what could connect them, and what bonds could be formed between them.
The education encourages creative exploration of the themes of friendship, connection, and meeting the other. Through dialogue with the exhibition's works, participants will learn to observe, ask questions, look for connections, and create their own relationship with art – not just by trying to understand it, but also by discovering an "art friend" close to them.
