DOOM GONG (USA) + Fellas concert

On Tuesday, July 14th, at 7:00 PM, the Kirtimai Culture Center will host DOOM GONG, a band from the USA that blends psychedelic rock, jazz, bedroom pop, lo-fi, and contemporary classical music in their work.
They will be supported by the rapidly rising Vilnius-based band "Fellas" – the winners of this year's "Garažas" and "LRT OPUS TALENTAS" competitions.
Founded in 2022 in Louisville (USA) by seven music school enthusiasts, the band "DOOM GONG" gained international fame for their self-created genre "Denim Psych" – a mixture of psychedelic rock, jazz fusion, bedroom pop, lo-fi, and contemporary classical music, which includes blood, sweat, and a lot of denim.
Having released three LPs (DOOM GONG, Dream Behemoth, MEGAGONG), DOOM GONG quickly became popular in the USA and abroad, performing mysterious and seamless live shows alongside artists such as Amyl and the Sniffers, The Black Angels, BADBADNOTGOOD, Allah Las, King Buffalo, Bass Drum of Death, Death Valley Girls, HOLY WAVE, Gustaf, Ron Gallo, and many others.

"Fellas" introduce themselves as a band that accidentally ended up on the streets of Vilnius from another dimension, seeking to captivate listeners with their energy, sounds, and creative adventures. The musicians say their style is "Modern Psychedelia."
