Science says that a healthy human body consists of sixty percent water and forty percent unprofitable dreams. Have you ever wondered how many people end up in the red trying to make their dreams come true?
Two years ago, I had a dream of running a marathon distance wearing wooden clogs. I managed to fulfill that dream. A dream that could have brought fame and fortune didn't even bring me painful blisters. I was left alone with broken clogs. Perhaps because the clogs were from the Netherlands, the algorithm threw up an influencer's ad offering to earn money in the Netherlands. A few months later, with legs shaking from the height, I was standing forty meters up, building scaffolding, cursing and angry at the wooden clog dream. In the Netherlands, I worked as a scaffolder for ten hours a day, six days a week. But the anger quickly passed, because my head filled up with new unprofitable dreams.
This one-man show/comedy is a story about people and their dreams.
