On the evening of October 29th, the DOWNTOWN PIANO LAB stage hosts a concert for those seeking new musical experiences and wanting to see up close how rhythm, electronics, and visuals merge into a single living organism.
An exclusive solo performance by Domantas Razmus, combining sensory percussion, electronic music, and real-time controlled visual projections. Every movement and strike by the performer on stage not only creates sound but also alters the image on the screen, meaning music and visuals are born simultaneously, becoming a cohesive audiovisual work.
This is not a typical percussion concert. Traditional drum sounds are complemented here by electronic noises, unexpected textures, improvisation, and technology. Sensory instruments become a living interface between human and computer, and each composition is a unique world of sounds, rhythms, and images. The audience is invited not only to listen but to observe how music instantly takes on a visual form.
Domantas Razmus is a drummer, percussionist, and music creator.
Over the past 10 years, he has released over 20 albums with various jazz, improvisational, and contemporary music artists and ensembles, and in 2023, he debuted as a composer/multi-instrumentalist with the album “Riddims and Groves Vol.1”.
In 2025, he released his second solo album titled “Scratching the surface”, in which he explores themes of improvisational, electronic, and world music, utilizing innovative electronic percussion instrument technologies. Continuing his explorations of electronic and acoustic percussion, in 2026 he released a cycle of audiovisual compositions/improvisations titled "Abstractions for drums, electronics and multimedia".
The Dainykla project is partially funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
