Dea Matrona combines the best elements of classic rock, indie, and pop music – you can hear this blend live on March 4th at the club "Mello" in Vilnius, and the following day at the club "Hydrozagadka" in Warsaw.
Mollie McGinn and Orláith Forsythe first met while competing against each other in an Irish language singing competition. Soon after, they began spending their free time busking on the streets of Belfast. Their cover of the Fleetwood Mac song "Oh Well" quickly became an internet sensation, and shortly after, their single "Make You My Star" reached number one on the UK iTunes rock chart, opening doors to some of the biggest music festivals across the British Isles.
In 2024, Dea Matrona released their debut album "For Your Sins". Written, recorded, and produced in a true DIY style, this album reached number one on the UK Independent Albums Chart, earned the duo performances at the Glastonbury festival and the Royal Albert Hall, and provided the opportunity to support artists such as Sting, Bryan Adams, Sheryl Crow, and The Darkness. Their latest album "Hate That I Care" has just been released, and in early March, Mollie and Orláith will arrive in Vilnius and Warsaw with songs from it.
