There are voices you recognize from the very first phrase. The warm, expressive, and emotionally powerful voice of Daiva Starinskaitė is one of them.
"Daiva Starinskaitė: Acoustic Night" is a cozy and live musical evening where one of Lithuania's most prominent soul, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz vocalists will reveal herself in an intimate, organic sound. No excessive effects – just voice, live instruments, strong emotions, and music that allows you to hear every color of the performer's voice.
Daiva Starinskaitė is well known to listeners as the former vocalist and songwriter for the band "Saulės Kliošas" and the electronic soul group "Keymono". The artist studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, performed on various European stages, and while still only twenty, was noticed by the legendary US trumpeter Ted Curson – with whom she recorded a live album at the Paris jazz club "Sunset-Sunside".
Having developed her musical career in London for many years, the artist today brings to the stage not only impressive experience but also a mature, highly personal creative vision. Her music naturally blends soul, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and subtle electronic influences, with her voice becoming an equal instrument – sometimes soft and vulnerable, sometimes powerful and untamable.
"Acoustic Night" is an opportunity to hear Daiva closer than usual: sincere, open, and unafraid to improvise. The evening will feature an intimate acoustic sound, unexpected musical interpretations, and a genuine connection between the performer and the audience.
This is not just a concert – it is an evening for those who seek authenticity, raw emotion, and a voice that can tell more than words in music.
The Dainykla project is partially funded by the Vilnius City Municipality.
