Concert of legendary Youth Theatre actors

On November 7, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the legendary voices of actors will resonate at the Bistrampolis Manor in the Panevėžys district. Kristina Kazlauskaitė, Vidas Petkevičius, Violeta Podolskaitė, Saulius Sipaitis, Vytautas Taukinaitis, Regina Kazlauskaitė, Giedrius Arbačiauskas, and soprano Eglė Ignatavičienė will perform and sing on stage. The performers will be accompanied by a rhythm section, featuring Povilas's daughter Živilė Keblikaitė (piano), multi-instrumentalist Rolandas Butkevičius, Živilė Mackevičiūtė (bass guitar), and Kamilė Griušytė (drums).

The evening's hosts and authors of the idea are Kristina Kazlauskaitė and actor Giedrius Arbačiauskas.

The program will feature original songs by Povilas Keblikas, and the actors will also recall ethnic songs once performed and arranged by Povilas, as well as pieces that were played in the "Home Music Group," led by Povilas Keblikas. In 2013, the long-time concertmaster and head of the music department of the State Youth Theatre, Povilas Keblikas, left this world, but he left behind a rich musical legacy. In 2025, "Bardai LT" released a three-album collection titled "From the Musical World of Povilas Keblikas."

P. Keblikas dedicated more than 50 years to the State Youth Theatre and the music that resonated within it. No performance requiring even the smallest musical part could do without him. He worked quietly, meticulously, responsibly, and with extraordinary dedication. Guitar, accordion, oboe – except for the violin, the late musician had mastered almost every musical instrument. P. Keblikas simultaneously fulfilled the roles of composer, arranger, conductor, and singer. It was thanks to him that the Youth Theatre became famous as a singing theatre. For several decades, the "Home Music Group" and the actors' group "Be grimo" operated here, long delighting the Lithuanian public. Listeners will have the opportunity to hear songs from the "Home Music Group," which is reuniting for one night only.
