About this event
Vaikų linija (Child Line) receives about 260 calls from children and teenagers every day. That is a lot of children who need someone to listen to them, accept their feelings, and help them feel less alone.
As the new school year begins, we want to remind you: children bring more than just textbooks and notebooks to school. They also bring excitement, curiosity, expectations, anxiety, the joys or difficulties of friendships – everything that is not always easy to say out loud.
Therefore, on September 4, Vaikų linija invites families to celebrate the beginning of the school year together at the "FOR THE CHILDREN" concert.

It will be an evening about children, teenagers, their voices, and their emotional well-being. About how important it is to hear them not only when things are very difficult, but every day – at home, at school, among friends, or online.
During the concert, the Ambassador Line will be active – you will be able to call well-known Lithuanian figures on a special number and talk to them live. You will also be able to contribute to the activities of Vaikų linija by calling the short number 1497 (donation – 5 EUR).
We invite you to come to the concert in person, watch the broadcast on LNK, and talk to children about how they are feeling. Sometimes a sincere conversation starts with a very simple question.
