"Balladyna Reloaded" is a contemporary musical reinterpretation of the classic drama by Juliusz Słowacki – a story about power, crime, destiny, and moral decay. In this modern version, the romantic text resonates with the anxieties of today's human, becoming a pretext for a conversation about how modernity shapes our choices, guilt, and consequences.
Electro music, created specifically for the play by Ernest Tylingo and Katarzyna Parszuta, pulses with tension and emotion, accompanying the young actors in their bold, expressive interpretations of the characters. It is a rhythmic, electronic soundscape that opens new spaces for the classic text and gives it a unique, energetic dimension.
Director Bożena Sosnowska leads the viewer through a world where the boundaries between the past and the present blur. Balladyna becomes not only a symbol of ruthless ambition but also a mirror in which the modern person confronts their fears – death, loneliness, the inevitability of fate.

Unique costumes by Ewa Baliul, inspired by the motif of omnipresent death, create a visual world full of symbolism, where darkness and beauty intertwine with the grotesque. They are complemented by carefully designed makeup, bringing out the drama of each character.
The play does not provide simple answers. It asks questions: Is evil a choice? Can fate be cheated? Does nature still influence humans? In Balladyna Reloaded, the dramatic story of crime and punishment gains a new life – in the rhythm of electronics, in the light of strobes, in the shadow of our times.
