BAI KAMARA JR. (vocals, electric guitar, Belgium/Sierra Leone)
You don't need fireworks to end the year. Sometimes an electric guitar is enough – especially when it's in the hands of Bai Kamara Jr. Returning to Vilnius, the artist will present several new songs from his upcoming album, set to be released in March, and will delight audiences with what he is most loved for – his velvety vocals, the depth of the blues, the warmth of soul, and sensitive lyrics.
"I am stepping onto the stage without my usual band because I don't just want to play or sing – I want to tell stories. I want to provoke, make people laugh, move them to tears, and speak sincerely about what is important to me. Therefore, this time there will be only two characters on stage – a voice and an electric guitar sensitive to every nuance," the artist shares about the concept of the performance.
Bai's songs feature a perfectly imperfect world: from the refugee crisis to, of course, love, which comes in all forms. He wraps serious themes in beautifully crafted melodies that always seem to leave you wanting more.
How you end the year is how you will start the next. So, on December 28th – less glitter, more blues.
