The 17th international contemporary art fair ArtVilnius’26 will take place from October 1–4, 2026, at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre Litexpo. ArtVilnius is the largest contemporary art fair in the Baltic States and one of the most important regional platforms connecting the contemporary art scene of Central, Eastern, and Northern Europe.
Since its inception, the ArtVilnius art fair has consistently contributed to strengthening the region's art infrastructure, fostering professional exchanges between galleries, artists, curators, institutions, and collectors. The fair is not only an important part of the art market but also a significant platform for cultural dialogue, curatorship, and artists' careers, communicating about both emerging and established creators.
The focus of the 2026 fair is Vilnius, Vienna, and Warsaw. It also highlights the contemporary art scenes of these capitals, the dialogue between the cities, shared historical experiences, and today's art trends. All of this allows for the regional context to be actualized on the broader European contemporary art map.
The fair will feature art galleries, the international exhibition of sculptures, installations, and performances Takas, and the Projects Zone will present curatorial projects. In 2026, the ArtVilnius Projects Zone will be curated by Neringa Bumblienė, and the artistic director is Sonata Baliuckaitė-Arlauskienė.
An important part of the fair is the VIP program for collectors. This program is implemented with the help of Lithuanian art institutions.
ArtVilnius’26 continues its mission: bringing together the contemporary art community in the Baltic region, helping art and artists become visible abroad, growing the art ecosystem, and creating a space for new encounters between creators and collectors.
