December 31 | 17:30 and 19:30 Vilnius County Adomas Mickevičius Public Library

There are moments that you want to experience differently. The last day of the year is one of them.

Before the city welcomes the New Year, we invite you to a special musical evening where time slows down for a moment, and the festive bustle is replaced by peace, beauty, and music.

One of the most prominent classical music works of the 21st century will be performed – Antonio Vivaldi / Max Richter's "The Four Seasons". It is a dialogue between two eras, in which Vivaldi's masterpiece is reborn with a new sound. Familiar melodies merge with subtle minimalism, contemporary harmonies, and hypnotic rhythm, inviting you to re-experience this immortal work.

The four seasons here become a metaphor not only for nature but also for human life. The hope of spring, the fullness of summer, the maturity of autumn, and the peace of winter merge into one musical journey, reminding us that every ending is also a new beginning.

Rasa Vosyliūtė and Darius Mažintas are performers whose names have long become a sign of artistic quality and sensitive interpretation for the Lithuanian concert audience. On this New Year's Eve, they invite you to share music that not only sounds but also touches. It is an evening where every note becomes an invitation to stop, listen, and let the music gently guide you from one year to the next.

Perhaps the most beautiful New Year's tradition begins not with fireworks, but with the silence before the first note.

Before the clock strikes twelve, gift yourself and those you love an hour of music, peace, and light.
