Actor, director, educator – a man for whom theatre has always been more than a profession, but also a way to communicate with people about what is most important. For many years, he acted at the Kaunas Drama Theatre, directed more than twenty plays, and created several documentary films. His work is always distinguished by unique honesty, attention to the human soul, and a desire to find light even in the most difficult situations. For many years, he taught acting at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, nurturing a new generation of artists – with the same respect for the word, the stage, and the audience that he himself brings to his work. He has won prestigious theatre awards, including being a laureate of the 8th International "Monocle" Theatre Festival and "Fortūna" awards.
