Aistė Gurevičiūtė's illustration exhibition "Seku Pasaką" ("I'm Telling a Fairy Tale")

Long before the world became hurried and noisy, there existed a language spoken by the stars, the forests, and quiet hearts. It was the language of miracles – the one children know instinctively, and one that many adults spend their whole lives trying to remember.

"Seku Pasaką" is an invitation to step through those invisible doors.

In this collection, Goddesses appear as guardians of intuition and creation, mushrooms become bridges between worlds, portals open into hidden realms, and snails carry entire universes on their backs. Every line and pattern is woven like a meditation, a map, or perhaps a memory from somewhere beyond this life.

The snail, moving calmly through time, reminds us that the soul does not need to rush. Mushrooms whisper about transformation and the invisible magic beneath the surface. The Goddess reflects the eternal creative force living in nature and within ourselves. And the portals ask a simple question: what if there is more than what our eyes can see?

These drawings are not meant to be understood by the mind alone. They invite you to slow down, take a walk, and reconnect with that part of yourself that still believes the universe is breathing with secrets.

Perhaps fairy tales were never just stories.

Perhaps they are memories of a deeper reality – a place where everything is connected, where imagination is sacred, and where every soul carries a small piece of the cosmos within.
