A hike through Soviet and modern Lazdynai

Even if you have lived in Lazdynai for a long time, it is unlikely that you have ever walked around it, looking carefully and understanding every detail. Lazdynai was created with great love for nature and the ability to foresee the future. Although created during the Soviet era, it is worthy of deep admiration and full of surprising corners. The tour will require some stamina; we will walk a lot and learn a lot.

On July 2nd at 6:00 PM, I invite you to a live 2.5-hour walk, during which we will:

discover the birth and vision of Lazdynai, which earned the district the prestigious Lenin Prize

hear stories about the sculptures that appeared in this district not by accident

feel how architects created the district, inspired by the natural terrain

walk over 10,000 steps, descending into small forests, paths, and panoramic spots

learn details that even the residents of Lazdynai themselves do not notice

This will be a cozy, lively, and informative walk, suitable for both history lovers and those who want to discover Vilnius anew.

We meet at the Lazdynai horse sculpture "Rytas", which is directly in front of the Maxima store located at Architektų g. 152.
