7 FRIDAYS LIVE SESSIONS | RAISING CAINE ACOUSTIC Country evening, free for everyone. September 17th is International Country Music Day. This date was not chosen by accident: it is the birthday of Hank Williams, one of the most influential artists of the genre. Since 2003, country music has been played all over the world on this day, and this year it will echo with us as well. In the Reformatų Square - Caine McDonald, the leader of the four-member outlaw country band "Raising Caine". The group formed in Asheville (North Carolina, USA), and Caine himself currently lives in Riga. His work blends classic Americana and country with southern grit and sincere storytelling, and his live performances are infused with the spirit of musical roots and a rebellious soul. In Vilnius, you will hear him in an intimate, acoustic format. And the full "Raising Caine" lineup will perform at the "Visagino Country" festival.
