In these workshops, we will practically apply strategies and tactics already tested by the lecturers and adapt them specifically to the field of procurement:
Day I (11.26): Procurement Workshops
Anti-strategies in Procurement. Workshop led by Aurimas Vietrinas.
"Anti-strategy" workshops are an unconventional strategic planning format that focuses not on what to do, but on what to consciously NOT do, what doesn't work, and what is actually holding the organization back. Traditional strategic sessions often create long lists of goals that overwhelm teams and remain unimplemented. "Anti-strategy" turns this process upside down, based on the principle of inversion thinking and rejection tactics.
Workshop led by - Aurimas Vietrinas
An inspiring business management consultant, mentor for executives, salespeople, and negotiators, and an education expert. He helps organizations and their leaders transcend the boundaries of traditional thinking by combining practical business management with a deep understanding of human psychology. Official ambassador of the "Society for Mental Space Psychology" in Lithuania (since 2024). Author of the book "Mental Diet (Mind Diet)" (2020), founder and lecturer-consultant at "VAUMA – training agency".
Should-cost modelling. Workshop led by Robert Driessen. Workshop in English.
Do you know how much a purchased product or service should actually cost? In this practical workshop, you will learn to apply the "Should-Cost Modelling" methodology – deconstructing a supplier's price into basic components: raw materials, production processes, labor, and markups. This methodology allows you to argue for lower procurement costs, identify unjustified markups, and create long-term value.
Workshop led by - Robert Driessen
Founder and CEO of the innovative procurement analytics platform "WTP Buynamics", accredited lecturer at the Dutch Institute for Procurement (NEVI). Ex-international procurement manager with over 20 years of management experience in the food and non-food sectors. The digital cost modeling tools created by Robert help international corporations (Walmart, Bunzl, etc.) save millions of euros by replacing guesswork with precise data in negotiations.
Participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the platform itself during the event.
Information Disclosure in Negotiations. Workshop led by Balys Viršutis
Negotiations are not just a battle of arguments, but a precise informational game of chess. Information disclosed too early or too much weakens positions, while a lack of it hinders reaching an agreement. In this practical workshop, participants will learn to strategically manage information flows: how to disclose data step-by-step (gradual disclosure) while maintaining control and increasing their bargaining leverage. At the same time, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) methods will be examined, allowing for the collection of critically important data about an opponent's interests, capabilities, and limits before even sitting down at the table.
Workshop led by - Balys Viršutis
Negotiation and leadership consultant, instructor at the international tactical academy "European Security Academy" (ESA), and representative in the Baltic states. Holding an international HECPO Level 4 (Hostile Environment Close Protection) qualification and having accumulated over 30 professional certifications, Balys uniquely combines business negotiation dynamics, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) principles, and tactical decision-making in high-stress environments in his training.
Procurement Functions. Workshop led by Dominykas Gustainis
As an organization grows or market dynamics change, every procurement team reaches a breaking point: how to distribute responsibilities so that the process works quickly, transparently, and without internal friction? Is it more effective for a buyer to be responsible for the entire chain "from A to Z", or to break the process down into stages? In this practical workshop, participants will examine different organizational models for a procurement department, analyzing their pros, cons, and applicability based on business specifics.

Procurement management expert-practitioner, founder of UAB "Pirkimų valdymas" and "Pirkimų klubas", with over 16 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, and negotiations. Dominykas has consulted over 100 companies in Lithuania and abroad – including Denmark, Finland, Estonia, the UK, Ukraine, China, and Australia. A mentor at the Innovation Agency's "Business Mentor Network", helping manufacturing and trading companies optimize procurement team structures, separate operational and strategic functions, and achieve maximum process efficiency.
Day II. Procurement Hackathon. Hackathon led by "Procurli".
Problems in procurement departments usually repeat themselves: RFQ processes take too long, supplier data is scattered across several systems, and internal stakeholders do not understand the buyers' rules. In this workshop, we will practically sit down at tables with specific procurement problems and build working solutions for them right there.
What we will do during the hackathon:
We will clarify the real problems. We will abandon general phrases and identify specific "bottlenecks" in the procurement process.
We will work in teams with procurement managers from other companies. This is an opportunity to see how other industries or trade sectors solve similar challenges.
We will create a prototype of a solution. With the help of "Procurli" moderators, we will turn ideas into a clear process scheme, automation logic, or tool template.
We will evaluate the possibilities of technologies. We will look at where it is worth integrating artificial intelligence or automation, and where it is enough to simply organize the division of functions.

A prepared action plan or prototype that can be directly implemented in your organization.
A clear method for quickly testing new ideas in a procurement team without long coordination cycles.
