The international traditional and contemporary folklore festival "Suklegos" combines various directions of folklore modernization and invites you to discover world music. A closing festival concert awaits the audience – a dizzying fairy tale of kanklės and electronic music.

Žemyna Trinkūnaitė – a masterful kanklės player who plays traditional kanklės, revealing the subtlety and mystical sound of this instrument. Donis (Donatas Bielkauskas) – a versatile instrumentalist who plays many folk instruments, such as the bagpipes, birbynė, and jaw harp. Together, they create calm, atmospheric compositions that combine archaic folklore sounds with contemporary arrangements. Their music tells stories about nature and people, creating a magical and meditative mood.

TICKET INFORMATION Children under 10 are admitted for free. When selecting a ticket, enter the discount code VAIKAS. A 40% discount applies to students, pupils, and seniors. When selecting a ticket, enter the discount code NUOLAIDA. Upon request by ticket checkers, it is mandatory to present a document proving the right to a discount.

The festival is organized by the Association "Etnoerdvės". The project is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and Kaunas City Municipality.
