In the heart of Kaunas' Žaliakalnis, among oaks and interwar villas, lie not only architectural pearls but also extraordinary stories. The tour "Wonderful Women of Žaliakalnis" invites you to look at the interwar period through the lives of women – those who lived, worked, or created specifically in the Radio district of Žaliakalnis. During this walk, you will learn about brave educators, creators, doctors, social activists, and artists – women who not only lived by the rules dictated by the era but also changed them. This is an opportunity to hear lesser-known but inspiring stories about real people who shaped the face of interwar Lithuania.
Walking through the unique Radio district, we will get acquainted not only with the architecture but also with the social and cultural context of this area. You will find out why this quarter was considered prestigious, who lived there, and which women left their mark here.
This is not just a tour – it is a tribute, a remembrance, and an inspiring walk through a Kaunas marked by the footsteps of women.

Tour tickets can be purchased in two ways:
1. Through the ticket sales system. Important! When purchasing a tour ticket through the ticket sales system, advance registration is not required.
2. By bank transfer. Important! Before paying by bank transfer, please write us a message at tel. +370 698 73272 or an email to info@kaunastour.lt. Please specify the tour date and the number of participants. We will send you an order confirmation and the amount to be paid.
The "Wonderful Women of Žaliakalnis" tour can also be booked privately at a time convenient for you. After the tour, for an additional fee, we can offer a snack or dessert tasting at the "Park Avenue" restaurant. The cost of the tasting is additional, from 13 Eur per person.
