Program: fragments from famous operas and operettas
As per tradition, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and its artistic director Modestas Pitrėnas will present a memorable musical celebration for listeners before the New Year, inviting everyone to bid farewell to the old year with spirited symphonic miniatures and the most melodic arias from operas and operettas.
Guests of the evening – Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre soloists, soprano Kseniya Bakhritdinova-Kravchuk and tenor Karolis Kašiuba – will further enhance the festive atmosphere of the concert with their impressive voices.
Talented and promising soloist of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine, K. BAKHRITDINOVA-KRAVCHUK, has successfully performed roles in opera houses across Ukraine, Europe, and Asia, and has performed in concert halls in Austria, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Norway, and Finland. The singer is currently continuing her professional career in Lithuania, preparing concert programs, and representing her country by presenting the works of Ukrainian composers.
Tenor K. KAŠIUBA is known for his expressive and clear voice. In 2022, he was named "Opera Hope of the Year" at the LNOBT. K. Kašiuba actively performs in Lithuania and abroad, has created numerous roles on the theater stage, and has appeared with major Lithuanian ensembles.
