Something Lithuania has never seen before: after selling out his first show, Mantas Stonkus announces an additional performance

The Mantas Stonkus show "GPT", taking place on May 8 at the Žalgirio Arena in Kaunas, is sold out. Due to overwhelming audience interest, an additional performance has been announced for May 9.

This show, featuring a format never before seen in Lithuania, will combine comedy, theater, cinema, music, technology, artificial intelligence, and thousands of spectators. The highlight of the evening is an experiment few would dare to attempt: Mantas will hand his phone over to the audience in the arena.

The show also coincides with a special personal milestone in Mantas's life – his fortieth birthday. The evening in Kaunas will be an opportunity to look back at what has accumulated over four decades: people, relationships, work, mistakes, successes and failures, absurd situations, and stories that have long been too many for a single stand-up program.

Today, a phone is arguably the fastest way to get to know a person. Text messages, missed calls, emails, searches, photos from parties and the bedroom, notes that no one was ever meant to read, and something that wasn't on our phones until very recently – conversations with artificial intelligence. That is exactly where things we don't even tell our closest people might be hiding today.

During this show, Mantas Stonkus will do something a normal person wouldn't do even in the company of their closest friends – he will give his phone password to the audience.

Messages, photos, searches, notes, and other digital life will become material for the show. The line between the stage version of Mantas and the person who remains off-stage will practically disappear for one evening. Of course, Mantas never claimed to be completely normal.
