Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra invites you to an exceptional evening of romantic music, centered around one of the early masterpieces of the brilliant Polish composer – Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor. This work captivates with its youthful energy, virtuosic flair, and melodies of exceptional beauty, and its slow movement is considered one of the most sensitive and poetic pages of Chopin's music.

Chopin's piano poetry in Kaunas will be revealed by the talented Polish pianist Andrzej Wierciński – a laureate of international competitions and a multiple participant in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. The pianist stands out for his mature interpretation, impressive technique, and a special ability to create a colorful and vivid musical narrative through the sounds of the piano.

Taking the conductor's podium with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra will be the French conductor and pedagogue Alain Pâris, an artist who has built an international career and is renowned for his broad repertoire and many years of experience working with orchestras from various countries.
