Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?... 1 Cor 6:19
A prayer dance group for women is a space where prayer is experienced not only through words, but also through the body, movement, music, and silence.
During the meetings, simple, free, or guided movements help to calm down, step away from the daily rush, and listen more closely to yourself and the presence of God. You do not need to know how to dance here – the most important thing is openness to prayer and the desire to let the body become what it is: not an obstacle, but a part of a person's relationship with God.
The experience of prayer dance can help:
· to experience prayer more deeply and discover a new form of it;
· to calm down and restore inner balance;
· to feel your body better and accept it with gratitude;
· to express what sometimes lacks words;
· to experience more freedom, joy, and vitality;
· to strengthen women's fellowship and mutual support;
· to learn to be in the presence of God with your whole self – thoughts, feelings, and body.
This is a safe and non-judgmental space: you do not need to have any dance experience, perform complex movements, or "dance beautifully." Everyone is invited to move as much as is comfortable for them at that time.
The cycle of meetings consists of 4 Monday evenings starting at 6:00 PM. The duration of the session is about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The number of participants is limited!
