The talented Rūta Ščiogolevaitė invites you to a spirited, energetic, and mesmerizing concert where she will embody one of the most famous singers of all time – Tina Turner.
The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll and a true music legend are just a few of the epithets used to describe the late artist while she was still alive. Her life, creative path, music, songs, and seemingly her entire essence are forever etched into history, a history one wishes to remember with respect and pride. Rūta Ščiogolevaitė takes on this task – to gift listeners at least a part of Tina's charm and her greatest legacy: the songs that span an entire musical era.
Rūta admits that this is not her first encounter with her idol's work – she first tried out "Tina Turner Tribute" more than a decade ago. However, she now wants to look at this program with a more mature and much more sentimental perspective.
"When we lost the light of the music world – Tina – three years ago, many sensitive souls undoubtedly felt a void. I really want to fill it by remembering Tina Turner's work, energy, and spirit. I believe that together we will create an experience that will warm and inspire us for life," hopes Rūta.
The diva of the Lithuanian stage promises a subtle touch on Tina Turner, conveying the most memorable moments of her life and musical journey to the listeners. During the evening, the audience will hear the American singer's well-known songs, including both romantic ballads and rhythmic hits: "Simply The Best", "Golden Eye", "Proud Mary", "Private Dancer", and others.
