This is a story for the little ones about homes – as different as the people who live in them. Some homes are big, others are small; some are full of laughter, others are full of quiet evenings and secrets. However, they all become special when love, care, and being together appear within them.
The play invites us to reflect: who creates a home and how? Is it sturdy walls and a roof, or the people who fill them with their voices, emotions, and small daily miracles?
The answer is sought through interpersonal relationships – fragile, alive, and constantly changing. Like the paper used in the play, they sometimes get crumpled, torn, or stained. But even then, they can be gently smoothed out, patiently glued back together, or perhaps even colored with new shades. The remaining marks become not a flaw, but a story – a beautiful testament that the bonds have withstood the trials and grown along with us. After all, a home does not start with walls – it starts with the people closest to us.
The play uses well-known Lithuanian sayings and proverbs as threads that playfully weave the entire story together.
