Dance and circus performance for children "Planet of Friendship" – a journey into the world of Čiurlionis
Can a planet fit in the palm of your hand? Can creativity become a rocket to the reaches of imagination?
"Planet of Friendship" is an invitation for young viewers to embark on an exceptional artistic journey where the boundaries between reality and imagination disappear. It is a performance-journey that tells a story of friendship and discovery through the language of contemporary dance, circus, music, and visual art, inspired by the work of M. K. Čiurlionis.
This unique educational project brings together professional artists and the younger generation – the little ones become not just spectators, but active participants. They are invited to explore, touch, and create together. On stage, there are not only performers but also interactive installations, unexpected objects, and a sensory environment where the world of children merges with the artistic universe of Čiurlionis.
Čiurlionis is not only the most famous Lithuanian artist but also an eternal dreamer whose paintings and music breathe mystery, inviting one to think, feel, and create.
In 2025, marking the 150th anniversary of his birth, this performance becomes a bridge between generations, introducing the little ones to the bright, sensitive, and colorful power of creativity.
"Planet of Friendship" is a safe, playful, and engaging space. It is not only the first contemporary dance and circus performance of its kind for the very young – it is an experience where every child becomes a creator.
Let us embark on this journey together – let us discover where friendship, imagination, and art live. Perhaps – right here, in our palms.
!!! After the premiere, the little ones are invited to a half-hour educational session to chat with the artists, creators, and performers of the dance and circus show. We cordially invite you!
