Two virtuosos. One piano. Zero fame.
A virtuosic comedy about the impudent behavior of two friends, an unexpected outcome, and an incredibly cheerful situation.
Two musicians, Jakob and Paul, have been a successful piano duo for almost 20 years. Their career is going through a happy phase: they receive an award for their latest album, and a tour that will guarantee them fame is being organized in Japan. The organizers invited them to a wonderful place in the European mountains to relax and properly prepare for this musical journey. Instead of starting to work, the two friends decide to find out which of them is more talented. The virtuosos know each other perfectly; each of them knows all of their partner's weaknesses and sore spots. Although they are tired of each other's flaws and differences in character, they are forced to put up with it, because leaving the duo would ruin both of their careers.
When asked "What is the working principle of your duo?" in an interview, Jakob replied: "I come with stones, and Paul brings the cement." That was all it took to trigger a chain reaction that was impossible to stop. A stay that was supposed to provide great professional comfort turned into their private downfall.
A creative crisis and the unexpected appearance of... a woman, burn any chance of fame for the two virtuosos, and the hilarious interaction between the friends will leave no one indifferent.
