Performance by the Neoclassical Dance Theatre "Releve"

On Wednesday, September 30, at 6:30 PM, we invite you to a musical dance evening taking place in the Star Hall of the Ąžuolynas Library (Radastų St. 2, 1st floor). The stage will feature dancers from the junior group of the Kaunas Cultural Centre's neoclassical dance theatre "Releve". They will present choreographic compositions and dance miniatures from the theatre's repertoire, as well as excerpts from the dance performance "Zodiac Signs" (choreographer – Rasa Butrimavičiūtė). The evening's program will also include the miniature "Autumn Allegro", adapted for younger dancers, and the choreographic production "Restless Sea" (music by Klaudijus Matas Tankevičius). This piece won first place at the 2024 international dance festival-competition "Baltic Amber" in Poland. The musical part of the program will be complemented by the work of singer-songwriter Egidijus Turas and performances by senior students from the Kaunas City Music School. The event is intended for audiences of all ages. Admission is free. The KCC neoclassical dance theatre "Releve" was founded in 1989 and is celebrating its 36th creative season this year. The theatre has been led by dancer and choreographer Rasa Butrimavičiūtė since its inception. Over more than three decades, the collective has implemented numerous creative projects, participated in festivals and concert tours in Lithuania and abroad, and continues its artistic activities actively to this day.
