Grammy winner Macy Gray will hold a concert at the Kaunas Sports Hall. Delighting fans for over two decades with global hits such as "I Try" and "Why Didn't You Call Me," artist Macy Gray will hold her only concert in Lithuania at the Kaunas Sports Hall on November 24th of this year. Macy Gray, whose real name is Natalie Renee McIntyre, began her musical career quite by accident – while a screenwriting student, she once filled in for an absent vocalist in the studio, and her voice was immediately noticed. Now, Macy Gray is easily recognizable for her vibrant and raspy vocal timbre, which is considered one of the most unique in the contemporary soul and R&B music world. Her works blend elements of soul, R&B, funk, jazz, and pop music, and her live performances are famous for their close connection with the audience. The American artist released her debut album "Oh How Life Is" in 1999, one of the tracks from which, "I Try," reached the top of global charts, and in 2001, she won a GRAMMY award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Furthermore, the song was also nominated in the Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories. Among Macy Gray's most prominent works are the songs "Still," "Sweet Baby," "Do Something," and "Beauty In The World." Throughout her musical career, Macy Gray has sold over 25 million albums in total, has been nominated for Grammy awards five times, and has won two BRIT Awards.
