A voice that has opened for Kirk Franklin, featured on Emeli Sandé's recordings, and made it onto Jennifer Hudson's "The Voice UK" team – in Kaunas.

On October 10th, the VDU Grand Hall will be flooded with London soul energy and the power of one of the most prominent British gospel voices.

Born in Jamaica and raised in London, Jason Nicholson-Porter is a British gospel artist, songwriter, vocal arranger, and teacher who has accumulated over three decades of experience on stage.

The wider United Kingdom audience discovered Jason in 2018 when he performed "Amazing Grace" during the blind auditions of "The Voice UK". His voice was enough to make Jennifer Hudson turn around and invite Jason to her team.

Three of Jason's official "The Voice UK" performances – "Amazing Grace", "Let It Be", and "When You Believe" – have already been viewed over two million times online. His "Let It Be" duet received a standing ovation from the audience, and "The Voice UK" itself called this performance a vocal battle worthy of the global stage.

However, television is only one part of Jason's musical history.

His voice features on Emeli Sandé's album "Long Live the Angels", he has sung backing vocals for Wretch 32, toured the United Kingdom with "X Factor" runner-up Rebecca Ferguson, and presented his original music in South Africa.

Jason has also opened concerts for global gospel music legends – Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, Karen Clark Sheard, and Richard Smallwood.

The British publication "Keep The Faith" calls him a "golden voice" and one of the strongest UK gospel vocalists. "The Guardian" mentions Jason's performance alongside Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond as an example of a true gospel show – one that the audience not only hears but feels, rising from their seats.

His original song "Smile" was among the nominees for Best Song at the "Premier Gospel Awards".

The program will bring together soul, gospel, and familiar interpretations of popular music – from sensitive ballads to climaxes that lift the voice, the hall, and the audience.
