We invite you on a culinary journey through the Grand Duchy of Lithuania!

The "GDL Cuisine" tour and tasting reveals what the rulers, nobles, gentry, townspeople, and peasants of Lithuania ate and drank.

Awaiting you is a 1-hour tour of medieval Kaunas (the Old Town) and a 1.5-2 hour tasting while listening to stories about 13th-18th century Lithuanian cuisine.

Dishes prepared by the tavern "Antis rūsy" specifically for this tasting according to old recipes:

Homemade kvass

Homemade bread with cottage cheese and herb spread

Crayfish tail and beer soup

A chunk of pork with oven-baked potatoes and a special horseradish sauce. If there are vegetarians participating, please mark this when purchasing tickets. We offer them vegetarian lasagna.
