The traditional autumn event, the contemporary music festival "Iš Arti", presents six events from November 10–21, revealing the field of contemporary music – from reflections on modernist tradition to new stage forms, which will allow listeners to experience the diverse world of contemporary music.
The concert program on November 19 presents the work of contemporary Baltic composers, united by the aesthetics of minimalism and philosophical-spiritual content.
In this concert, the piano appears in a less conventional, non-concert role, and the music performed invites one to listen to silence as an equal partner to sound in music. The stylistically unified program also weaves in unexpected contrasts of the flow of time, melody, and texture. Through them, an intimate narrative is created, directing the gaze toward inner soul spaces, natural cycles, and their influence on human states.
