Course "Ceramics on Owl Hill"

The Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution invites you to the course "Ceramics on Owl Hill", which will take place from October 13 to December 15, 2026. The course is designed for the development of creative self-expression for adults in the field of ceramic art. During theoretical and practical lectures, course participants will be introduced to the properties of basic ceramic materials, their application possibilities, and techniques for creating ceramic objects. Having acquired basic knowledge in the fields of functional and artistic ceramics, participants will develop the ability to choose appropriate ceramic materials, techniques, and technologies, manage and combine visual expression methods, maintain the relationship between space and object, and compose while expressing unique artistic ideas. The ability to reveal an individual style will be encouraged by developing and strengthening creativity and training the sense of aesthetics. Course duration: 30 academic hours. The course will take place on Tuesdays from 5:30 PM to 7:45 PM in the creative studios of the Faculty of Arts and Education's Academy of Arts, located at A. Mackevičiaus g. 27, Kaunas. The course will be led by Daina Daukšienė, a ceramicist and lecturer at the Academy of Arts with extensive experience. Course fee: 300 Eur. Please pay by October 12.
