Course "Furniture Restoration for Beginners"

The Faculty of Arts and Education at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution invites you to the course "Furniture Restoration for Beginners", which will take place from October 8 to December 3, 2026. The course is intended for adults who wish to acquire basic knowledge and practical skills in furniture restoration. During the training, participants will be introduced to the basics of furniture restoration, materials, tools, and workplace safety; they will learn to assess the condition of furniture, perform simple repairs, cleaning, surface renovation, and finishing work, and will learn about different furniture styles. The main focus is on practical work, creativity, and the sustainable renovation of old furniture. Course Information Duration: 60 academic hours. Time: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 17:30–20:30. Location: Workshops of the Faculty of Arts and Education at Kauno kolegija, Pramonės pr. 20, room 1-82, Kaunas. Lecturers: Dr. Aistė Dičkalnytė and Aurelijus Blažinauskis. Price: 500 EUR.
