The musical "The Little Prince" is touring Lithuania and arrives at KAUNAS "ŽALGIRIS" ARENA on September 12!
On September 12, Kaunas "Žalgiris" Arena invites audiences to the musical for the whole family "The Little Prince", based on the famous work by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry – one of the most widely read masterpieces of world literature. It is a sensitive, visually rich musical story that combines performing arts, live music, and poetic storytelling.
The performance features well-known Lithuanian stage artists – Sakalas Uždavinys, Vytautas Rašimas, Marta Lipčienė, Ingrida Žiliūtė, Emilija Finagėjavaitė, Donatas Mačiulis, and the musical interpretation is led by conductor Vytautas Lukočius. Together with the soloists, an orchestra, a choir, and symbolic fairy-tale characters appear on stage, creating an impressive, star-filled stage space. The author of the musical's music and libretto is composer and director Jonas Sakalauskas.
This musical production invites you to embark on a meaningful journey that reveals themes of friendship, responsibility, love, and human connection. It is a story that affects both children and adults equally: the youngest are fascinated by the colorful scenography and projections, while the older ones are touched by the deep and sensitive narrative.
"The Little Prince" is not just a performance, but an experience that reminds us of a simple but important truth: the essential things are invisible to the eyes, they can only be seen with the heart.
