Ballet "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs" – December 20, Kaunas Sports Hall
Experience the magic of a fairy tale that transforms on stage into a vibrant, emotional, and compelling work of art! This contemporary interpretation of "Snow White" takes you into a world where the legendary story of kindness, jealousy, the desire for power, and the meaning of true beauty merges with the aesthetics of modern ballet.
This is not just a fairy tale for children – it is a piece that makes you re-examine the power of friendship, empathy, and togetherness, reminding us that even the simplest stories can carry a deep message.
The author of the ballet's concept and libretto, as well as the composer, is Jonas Sakalauskas; the choreography and direction were created by Marijanas Staniulėnas, and the ballet masters are Kristina Gudžiūnaitė and Olga Konošenko. Talented Lithuanian ballet artists will perform on stage, and the seven dwarfs – each with their own distinct character – give the performance rhythm, expression, and magical movement dynamics.
Audiences can expect expressive choreography, sensitive solo numbers, and a visually rich stage where the fairy tale naturally blends with ballet movements.
-Time: 17:00 -Doors open: 16:00 -Duration: approx. 1 hour 30 min. (+30 min. intermission) -Recommended: for children from 5 years old (younger viewers are also welcome)
