Generational trauma manifests here through everyday decisions, fears, and poor choices. Hope – weak but persistent – remains as the last thread holding a person in humanity. A simple story of a fisherman's family opens up universal questions about how the past shapes the present, and whether it is possible to escape the cycle of inherited trauma. Universal questions are raised: do we really have the right to choose? Why do communities repress themselves?
