The line between eternity and transience is barely noticeable: the end of one becomes the beginning of another. Every evening, we fall asleep hoping out of habit to wake up in the morning – as if an "end file" existed but was running in snooze mode. While we plan our daily lives, processes of decay and birth are continuously taking place in nature. Each of us cautiously tames the sense of transience. This difficult procedure takes place as hints fall at our feet in the stream of everyday life. At the same time, we seem to be looking for a recipe for eternity – but perhaps we are already eternal? "Sarabande" is a lecture of organized sound and image, where science intertwines with myths, errors of imagination, and hallucinations. It is an unexpected detachment from reality, a daydream at the most inappropriate moment.
