Children are constantly taught to use freedom of speech, but only as long as they remain silent themselves. This time, it is the adults who will have to be silent, because "when children speak, adults listen." Lil Drama is a theatre project by director Peter Gonda featuring teenage actors. Since October 2024, the director, along with a creative team and a group of young performers, has been exploring themes of oppression, violence, and resistance. The process resulted not in a play for children, but a play created by children for adults – a series of experiments inviting the audience to understand the world, rethink it, change it, and, if necessary, deny it. Finger guns can kill. Artificial intelligence can suffer. Stage slaps become both a game and a menacing sign of escalating violence. And capitalism is described here as: "It is a viscous, shiny mass in a bright pink, limited-edition package – you open it, and the air becomes saturated with chemicals that instantly eat a hole in your table."
