By popular demand, Ieva Dūdaitė returns to the Žalgiris Arena
Pianist Ieva Dūdaitė, who held the biggest concert of her career this spring, announces unexpected news – the show, which was supposed to be a one-time performance, will return to the Kaunas Žalgiris Arena on December 27th by the request of hundreds of listeners, featuring the "Arena Piano Show" program adapted for the most beautiful holidays of the year.
The pianist reveals that after the performance in Kaunas at the end of March, her phone was heating up from messages from listeners, both with praise and requests to repeat the show. Ieva admits that this show was meant to be a one-off, but after trying to count all the listeners' requests, the idea was unplannedly born to give a gift to fans during the major holidays of the year.
"I get messages after every concert, but after Kaunas, it felt like my phone would explode. We had decided that we would do this show only once, so for a good two or three weeks after the concert, I was replying to many listeners that it was a pity to hear they couldn't make it this time, and that there wouldn't be a second show. But then I decided to count how many requests for the show I had received, and when I lost count, I realized I had to do something," says Ieva Dūdaitė.
According to the organizers, the new Ieva Dūdaitė "Arena Piano Show" will use the best and most surprising solutions from the performance held this spring. The audience can look forward to a program adapted for the festive period, technical and visual stage solutions, and surprises that will be revealed closer to the date.
In March, at the country's largest arena, the pianist stunned the audience with a multitude of unique solutions – a piano covered in LED screens, a 360-degree stage rotating on its axis, an unexpected saxophone solo, numerous dance performances, a burlesque act, and a show finale created specifically for this evening that became a dedication to the musical "The Greatest Showman".
I. Dūdaitė was assisted in Kaunas by a group of dancers, a choir, a rhythm section, her sister Marija Dūdaitė, rapper Kamuza, and two international guests – arguably the world's most famous cellist Jodok Cello and Canadian performer David Marino. The event organizers reveal that the pianist's talent and unique show solutions have attracted a lot of attention not only in Lithuania but also abroad.
"Ieva has already received an invitation to perform with David in France and Canada, and with Jodok in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the performance in Kaunas was watched live by well-known event producers from Cyprus, France, Poland, and Latvia, who believe that this show is already worthy of world stages. Therefore, I invite everyone to see it live in December," says Tomas Inčikas, head of "Seven Live".
Returning to the Kaunas Žalgiris Arena by popular demand, Ieva Dūdaitė's "Arena Piano Show" with its unique piano, exceptional scenography, and festive program will take place on Sunday, December 27, 2026. Event tickets are distributed by the "Bilietai.lt" platform.
