For the first time, the Lithuanian Museum of Education is hosting the "BEAUTIFUL THINGS MARKET" – a cozy gathering for exchanging and selling items, inviting you to give objects a second chance and find them new, loving homes. On October 3rd of this year, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Lithuanian Museum of Education, together with European Climate Pact Ambassador Olesia Les, invites those who want to sell, exchange, purchase, or simply browse to meet up. Most of us likely have items at home that we once loved, but which no longer find their place today. A candlestick for which we no longer have a suitable spot, a pot that lacks a flower, a mug of which we have more than needed, or a book we have already read. Or perhaps there is now room in our homes for a new cozy accent? Therefore, we invite you not to rush to throw things away or buy new ones, but first to meet, share, and exchange. The "BEAUTIFUL THINGS MARKET" is dedicated to items that create home coziness and beauty: houseplants and pots; home interior and decor objects; books; dishes and mugs; various lovely items that you want to give a second chance. Do you want to participate as a seller or an exchange participant? Fill out the participant registration form: https://forms.gle/ntnFKurcDgovQuxa9 We will provide participants with a place and space to display their items. You will be able to sell, exchange, or give away your items. At 1:00 PM, a coffee break with Olesia Les. A discussion about our consumption habits, their origins, and change. Do you just want to visit? We invite you to visit the Beautiful Things Market by purchasing a general visitor ticket to the Lithuanian Museum of Education. So, when you stop by the market, you can also visit the museum's exhibitions. See you on October 3rd from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Lithuanian Museum of Education (Vytauto pr. 52, Kaunas). Information by phone at +370 650 41018 and by email at info@lsim.lt The event will be photographed and/or filmed.
