The "Best of Cannes Lions Commercials" program has already become a tradition for everyone looking for top-quality entertainment and inspiration. This year, the program features the return of humor to advertising, reflections on artificial intelligence, and, for the first time in cinemas, a "Gold Lion"-winning commercial filmed in Lithuania. Commercials are usually the part of a cinema session that you want to get over with. But once a year, the situation flips – commercials that audiences actually look forward to return to the big screen. Over 18 years, more than 115,000 viewers have seen this program. What to expect from the program? From more than 20,000 entries submitted to the Cannes Lions festival, the best and most memorable works have been selected for the Lithuanian audience. One of the most prominent trends this year is the return of humor to advertising. This year, it has become not only a creative tool but also the hero of the advertisement itself. According to Cannes Lions data, AI was used in the creation of 60% of the festival's entries, yet one of the most fun commercials in the program, created for the "Claude" platform, laughs specifically at AI blunders. Ironically, this award-winning commercial was created by humans. Another exclusive highlight of the program is the first-ever big-screen showing in Lithuania of "Kein Projekt ohne Drama," for which the Lithuanian advertising and production agency "Magic" won a "Gold Lion." The commercial was filmed in Lithuania. "Best of Cannes Lions Commercials" is not about more advertising, but about better advertising in every sense. Works that amuse, surprise, move, and prove that good advertising can be just as anticipated as good cinema.
