𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 The political thriller "Slaptasis agentas" takes us to 1977 Brazil. Forty-year-old technology specialist Marcelo is hiding from a mysterious past that is chasing him. He arrives in Recife, a city on the country's east coast, hoping to meet his son who is being raised by his grandparents. However, the city, caught in the heat of the Brazilian Carnival, soon proves to be not the quiet refuge that Marcelo was looking for. The lead role in the film was created by Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, who became famous in the series "Narcos." "Slaptasis agentas" has won more than 100 awards and nominations. At the Cannes Film Festival, Kleber Mendonça Filho was awarded for best director, Wagner Moura for best actor, and the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) chose the film as the best film of the festival.
