The public institution "Kauno tvirtovės parkas" manages the largest objects of the Kaunas Fortress – the forts. In just over a decade of the institution's activities, the condition of the forts has changed significantly. Once neglected and difficult to access, the objects have become cherished and revived in an effort to save them from decay. We invite you to get acquainted with the situation of the Kaunas Fortress I Fort. Event program: 16:00 – 20:30 Presentation of the traveling exhibition "Condition of Kaunas Fortress I and V Forts" 16:00 – 17:30 Presentation of European Heritage Days at Kaunas Fortress Park. Overview of the changes in the condition of the forts and presentation of 3D models of the barracks of Kaunas Fortress I and V Forts. 19:00 Educational tour at Kaunas Fortress I Fort. Advance registration by obtaining free tickets is required.
