Discussion "The Connection Between Earth and Sky"

The Story Festival theme "Disconnected" takes on a very literal meaning at the Lithuanian Aviation Museum – what happens when the connection between the ground and the sky becomes a necessary condition for a safe flight? What happens in the cockpit when trying to maintain contact with the ground? Why is communication in aviation not just about technology, but also about trust, responsibility, and the ability to make prompt decisions? In the discussion "The Connection Between Ground and Sky," representatives of aviation history and practice will talk about the invisible yet vital connection for every flight – from radio communication and navigation to human cooperation in critical situations. The speakers will share their experiences and invite you to take a look at how technology meets human decisions, responsibility, and mutual trust in the sky. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀: Lithuanian Aviation Museum curator and pilot Eugenijus Raubickas; Director of the Kaunas Aeroclub and pilot of the ANBO aerobatic team Algimantas Žentelis; Kaunas S. Darius and S. Girėnas Aerodrome flight coordinator Tadas Juozapavičius. The discussion is accompanied by the exhibition "The Connection Between Ground and Sky," created especially for the Story Festival, which will be open at the Lithuanian Aviation Museum from September 24–27.
