The "Christmas Jazz" project by the Kaunas State Choir and the Kaunas Big Band, which has become a beautiful tradition, will once again resonate for listeners during the festive period!

In this concert filled with jazz rhythms, gospel intonations, and good spirits, you will hear well-known Christmas carols sung all over the world, colored with new arrangements that combine the powerful sound of the choir with the jazz frenzy of the big band. Songs, carols, bright melodies, clear harmonies, joy, and hope are the keywords of this program. Surrounded by small vocal-instrumental miniatures, the uplifting three-part suite "Rejoice" by British composer Will Todd will also be performed.

The Kaunas State Choir, which usually performs monumental and serious academic music works, appears from a completely different angle in this concert program together with the energetic Kaunas Big Band. This is a jazzing, swinging alliance of two ensembles! The project initiators, the Kaunas State Philharmonic and the concert institution "Kauno santaka," invite you not to miss this Christmas concert, which has received great interest from listeners.
