Aistė Lauciūnaitė's digital graphics and painting exhibition "What Cannot Be Put Into Words"

We invite you to the digital graphics and painting exhibition "What Cannot Be Put Into Words" by Aistė Lauciūnaitė, a student of the Design study program at the Faculty of Arts and Education of Kauno kolegija / Higher Education Institution, which is on display at the Kauno kolegija Library and Scientific Communication Centre (Pramonės pr. 22 A, Kaunas) from September 10 to October 30, 2026. This exhibition is a journey through the labyrinths of emotions, where every brushstroke arises not from a rational plan, but from an inner state. There is no plan or logic here – only the moment. Each piece is created based on emotions, from the heart, from what often cannot be put into words. It is an inner world where there are no boundaries, rules, or need to explain. By drawing digitally and painting, I allow myself to be completely open. Everything that lies within me – anger, peace, sadness, tenderness, confusion, or joy – pours out freely, without any attempt to hide. These graphic and painting works are inseparable expressions of my inner states, captured in brushstrokes and colors. Every felt emotion finds its form in lines, colors, and fragments. The creative process is spontaneous, and the act of creation itself is a way for me to fully experience emotions, to express what I cannot name. Perhaps to one viewer, the works will seem calm, to another – turbulent. What is important is not the attempt to understand, but the feeling. I want everyone to find not a window into my world, but a mirror into their own. These graphic and painting works are not answers. They are a question: what am I feeling? Each viewer can discover a different story in the works. Therefore, look closely at each piece and ask yourself what feeling or emotion, perhaps even a memory, it evokes in you? Perhaps you will find a reflection of yourself. Perhaps – something unexpected. Let the works speak in your language. The exhibition features 18 digital graphic works and 2 paintings.
