The romantic chamber music evening “Woman's Love and Life” invites you on a sensual journey through the world of love, longing, and inner transformation.
Songs by the Northern romantic Edvard Grieg, “Time of Roses”, “A Swan”, “I Love Thee”, “A Dream”, and his own arrangements for solo piano of the songs “The First Meeting” and “The Poet's Heart” reveal both intimate experiences and passionate inspiration.
The axis of the evening is the entire cycle “Woman's Love and Life” by the German romantic Robert Schumann, in which a woman's emotional path – from the first glance to mature experience – unfolds with special tenderness and drama.
The program is complemented by poems by Pablo Neruda and Arvydas Ambrazas, and excerpts from Mikhail Shishkin's “Book of Letters”, giving the word the same emotional depth that music expresses without words.
This is an evening where love resonates in all its colors – from a fragile beginning to a mature, deeply experienced light.
